5th Annual

CASTLE  ROCK  DAY  OF  PRAYER

August 31, 2019

DEATH WAS ARRESTED  (Song 1)

(Verse 1)

Alone in my sorrow and dead in my sin
Lost without hope with no place to begin
Your love made a way to let mercy come in
When death was arrested and my life began

(Verse 2)

Ash was redeemed only beauty remains
My orphan heart was given a name
My mourning grew quiet my feet rose to dance
When death was arrested and my life began

(Chorus)

Oh Your grace so free washes over me
You have made me new now life begins with You
It's Your endless love pouring down on us
You have made us new now life begins with You

(Verse 3)

Released from my chains I'm a pris'ner no more
My shame was a ransom He faithfully bore
He cancelled my debt and He called me His friend
When death was arrested and my life began

(Verse 4)

Our Savior displayed on a criminal's cross
Darkness rejoiced as though Heaven had lost
But then Jesus arose with our freedom in hand
That's when death was arrested and my life began

(Bridge)

Oh we're free free forever we're free
Come join the song of all the redeemed
Yes we're free free forever amen
When death was arrested and my life began

may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

HOLY HOLY HOLY  (Song 2)

(Verse 1)

Holy, Holy, Holy
Lord God Almighty
Early in the morning
Our song shall rise to Thee
Holy, Holy, Holy
Merciful and mighty
God in three persons
Blessed Trinity

(Verse 2)

Holy, Holy, Holy
All the saints adore Thee
Casting down their golden crowns
Around the glassy sea
Cherubim and seraphim
Falling down before Thee
Which wert and art
And evermore shalt be

(Verse 3)

Holy, Holy, Holy
Though the darkness hide Thee
Though the eye of sinful man
Thy glory may not see
Only Thou art holy
There is none beside Thee
Perfect in power
In love and purity

(Verse 4)

Holy, Holy, Holy
Lord God Almighty
All Thy works shall praise Thy name
In earth and sky and sea
Holy, Holy, Holy
Merciful and mighty
God in three persons
Blessed Trinity

LIVING HOPE  (Song 5)

(Verse 1)

How great the chasm that lay between us
How high the mountain I could not climb
In desperation I turned to heaven
And spoke Your name into the night
Then through the darkness Your loving-kindness
Tore through the shadows of my soul
The work is finished the end is written
Jesus Christ my living hope

(Verse 2)

Who could imagine so great a mercy
What heart could fathom such boundless grace
The God of ages stepped down from glory
To wear my sin and bear my shame
The cross has spoken I am forgiven
The King of kings calls me His own
Beautiful Savior I’m Yours forever
Jesus Christ my living hope

(Chorus)

Hallelujah praise the One who set me free
Hallelujah death has lost its grip on me
You have broken every chain
There’s salvation in Your name
Jesus Christ my living hope

(Verse 3)

Then came the morning that sealed the promise
Your buried body began to breathe
Out of the silence the Roaring Lion
Declared the grave has no claim on me

(REPEAT)
Jesus Yours is the victory whoa

(Ending)

Jesus Christ my living hope
Oh God You are my living hope

RISE UP CASTLE ROCK!

DECLARATION PRAYER OVER CASTLE ROCK: - Led by Pastor Mike Polhemus – The Rock

Father, This morning we, your people, in covenant with You, being called by Your name and created for Your glory, come boldly to the throne of grace for the Town of Castle Rock and surrounding communities, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us and our Town.  (Is 43:7; Heb 4:12)

We declare Jesus as Lord and Savior of our lives and over Castle Rock.  And we open the gates of Castle Rock and say, “Jesus, King of Glory, come in and take your rightful place as Lord of this City.”   We declare - our God reigns!          (Rom 10:9-10; Ps 118:19; Rev 19:6)

We repent for the sins of Castle Rock and turn our hearts to God, so that our sins may be wiped out, and that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.  We repent as the Church for any misrepresentation of Christ and not demonstrating the love and the power of God to Castle Rock as commissioned.  With our authority in Christ, we now take our rightful place as kings and priests and walk in the power of the Holy Spirit.  We choose to be witnesses, ambassadors, and ministers of reconciliation to those lost in the world around us.   (Acts 1:8, 3:19; Rom 8:11; 2 Cor 5:18-20)

Now we call the Church of Castle Rock to ARISE and SHINE for the Lord and to be a light to this region and to the nations as the glory of the Lord rises upon us and His glory appears over us.  What has been whispered in the church, will now be shouted from the rooftops.  We will not be silent.  We will lead this generation to Christ and to victory.  Rise up Castle Rock…to your God-given purpose!   (Isaiah 60:1-3; Luke 12:3)

We now take the authority in Christ and stand against the evil one.   We declare righteousness rules, and lawlessness and all evil works and influences are bound.    (Eph 6:11-12; Matt 16:19)

We invite the Holy Spirit to dwell in Castle Rock and bring a great awakening of God’s love, goodness and power with revelation knowledge of Jesus Christ, that all may know Him.    (Eph 5:14; Phil 3:10; Ps 57:8)

And now we pray…

Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come.  Your will be done.
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.

For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever.

Amen!

God, We thank you that you have heard our prayers and that you are faithful to answer them.   (1 John 5:14-15)

RAISE A HALLELUJAH    (Song 6)

(Verse 1)

I raise a hallelujah in the presence of my enemies
I raise a hallelujah louder than the unbelief
I raise a hallelujah my weapon is a melody
I raise a hallelujah Heaven comes to fight for me

(Chorus)

I’m gonna sing in the middle of the storm
Louder and louder you’re gonna hear my praises roar
Up from the ashes hope will arise
Death is defeated the King is alive

(Verse 2)

I raise a hallelujah with everything inside of me
I raise a hallelujah I will watch the darkness flee
I raise a hallelujah in the middle of the mystery
I raise a hallelujah fear you lost your hold on me

(Bridge)

Sing a little louder (Sing a little louder)
Sing a little louder (Sing a little louder)
Sing a little louder (Sing a little louder)
Sing a little louder (Sing a little louder)

(Bridge)

Sing a little louder in the presence of my enemies
Sing a little louder, louder than the unbelief
Sing a little louder my weapon is a melody
Sing a little louder Heaven comes to fight for me

(REPEAT)
Sing a little louder
